Responsible for all Treasury credit products, leasing, and asset based lending.  Had oversight for foreign exchange activities. Built and directed a 4-person department responsible customer finance transactions.

·   Structured $100 million program agreement with a major leasing company covering the sale and management of Honeywell Avionics, which was the first of its type in the industry

·   Conducted rating agency presentations resulting in the securitization of over $150 million of customer cash flows

·   Developed commercial paper programs to finance over $250 million of transactions

·   Developed, led and implemented $60 million divestiture of a subsidiary finance company

 

Director-Global Customer Finance, Minneapolis, MN (1996 to 1999)      

Started the company’s trade finance function. Responsible for developing and offering innovative financing structures and solutions for worldwide customers on behalf of our business units.

·   Conceived and structured $400 million off-balance sheet sales financing for Ultramar Diamond Shamrock, $188 million synthetic operating lease for Chevron that was syndicated in a private placement to five global banks and arranged $70 million lease financing under Certificates of Participation for an educational institution

·   Negotiated and implemented $70 million equity and debt joint venture agreements with International Finance Corporation and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, covering energy service companies in Central and Eastern Europe
